CBI-electric supports Jozi FM initiative for Mandela Day
As part of our Mandela Day 2019 campaign, CBI-electric: low voltage has donated electrical protective devices in support of Jozi FM's initiative of building a computer lab for the Soweto Red Cross in Rockville. The Soweto Red Cross was nominated to benefit from proceeds made during the 2019 Party4Life event. Party4Life is an event created to celebrate Jozi FM CEO Mpho Mhlongo's birthday.
CBI-electric: low voltage's Schalk Kobola says: “These electrical protective devices will assist in ensuring that the computer lab conforms to required standards.” “These devices consist of earth leakages, circuit breakers and wiring accessories,” says Kobola.
Mr S Kobola and Mr P Seloka visited the Jozi FM studio on Friday the 12th of July 2019 to hand over the donation. We donated a ready board, distribution board, circuit breakers, earth leakages, and wiring accessories, including light switches and socket outlets. CBI's donation was formally received by Jozi FM CEO Mpho Mhlongo, whereafter Mr Kobola spent some time on air.
"Jozi FM is running a project building a computer lab for the community and CBI decided to partner with Jozi FM as a community radio station.
"CBI-electric has contributed the ready board to be installed in the lab and the wiring accessories including socket outlets for connection of computers, and more other devices as well. As a proudly South African company, with a 70 year track record on the African continent, the company took an initiative to say thank you to the community for their continuous support of the local brand.", Schalk Kobola, Technical Advisor and Training Facilitator at CBI-electric: low voltage.
